The website was founded in May 2016 by Georg Berthelsen, who wanted to make it easier for people to find volunteering and job opportunities relevant to their skillset; instead of going through many different websites until finally finding an organization or position fits their requirements. He is a passionate person, and when he first talked to us, we were unfortunately unable to help him because we were also busy with a new website, but we did offer him our help and advice.

The homepage of the Colcom Foundation is virtually the same as the homepage of the Colcom Group. The difference is that instead of a menu at the top, you have a button on your left-hand side. It takes you to your dashboard, where you can see all opportunities in your area or country and then explore those which interest you.
