Hassan Jameel is the Deputy President & Vice Chairman of Saudi Arabia operations for Geely Automobile Corporation, which owns Volvo Cars Group. Jameel is a graduate of the University of Warwick with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is also an entrepreneur and author, focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship in the Middle East.

Hassan Jameel joined Geely Automobile Corporation as a Management Trainee in 1999. He became a Member of the Executive Board and Director of Sales & Marketing in 2003. He was promoted as Vice President & General Sales Manager at Volvo Cars Inc., USA, between 2004-2006, before being promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Marketing for Geely Auto Group, China, between 2006-2008.

Hassan Jameel also received several awards, including the Saudi Mentioned Businessman Award (SMB) in 2008 from the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and his involvement in supporting the youth was highlighted. He also received a special award from the University of Warwick, UK, for outstanding achievements.

He is also the Founder of the Jameel Foundation ( www.jameelfoundation.org), which supports education and community development, particularly in poor and disadvantaged communities in Saudi Arabia.
