Mo Katibeh is the ringcentral COO and a former CTO at RingCentral. She is responsible for the company’s operations and was responsible for much of the development of their technology.
Katibeh is a self-proclaimed introvert. She has expressed that she is more energized by one-on-one interaction than group interaction, and that she is able to get more work done alone in a quiet environment.
Katibeh grew up in Lebanon where her father worked as an engineer. He was hired by Western companies to help build various projects including roads, bridges, and buildings during his time at the American University of Beirut. Her father passed away when she was only 13 years old.
Work Experience/Education
Katibeh was the chief information officer for Ringcentral, a cloud-based customer service software company. Prior to Ringcentral, he was the chief technology officer for Wave Technology, an application performance management company. He also worked as a software developer for Symantec and IBM.
After moving to the United States, Katibeh studied Computer Science at the University of Southern California, majoring in Computer Science and Business. He also earned a master’s degree in Information Systems from San Diego State University.
Personal Life
Mo Katibeh lives with her husband, Chris Katibeh, who is a lawyer. They have three children and reside in Irvine, California.
Mo Katibeh has received several awards and recognitions for her hard work throughout her life. She received “Executive of the Year” awards from the City of Irvine and Orange County Business Journal in 2017. She was also named one of California’s Top 100 Women by CalWatchDog for her success as an entrepreneur and business leader.
She has been highlighted in a number of publications including Fortune Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, Forbes Magazine, CNN Money and SFGate.com among others.
